My current WIP coconut tree canvas I'm painting on will hopefully be done in the next day or so. I'll be gifting it to CasaNova Cabanas, since it's from their tree! Here's where I'm at so far. To follow that, I've posted the first one I did last year and another on regular canvas. Belize inspires me!

On vacation what do you want to do???! Paint! This is just a finger painting so I could pick my palette for the coconut tree bark I cut off, washed and dried, which will be my canvas tomorrow. So excited, one of the guests- Joan will be painting with me. I'm going to either video or live it. I don't know yet.

Work in Progress- similar but not the same as the reference picture.
The 1st step was a blowout, then my 1st sketch of her body which to date is actually proportioned correct.😁
