Join us tomorrow, Thursday, August 13 at 6:00 pm as we explore "Horizon Line" with Elizabeth Chew. She will consider how art shaped Americans' perceptions of the American Revolution. Works of art created during and after the war enabled Americans (first as colonists, then as citizens of a new country) to picture the stories and heroes of the fight for independence.

This program is made possible through the generosity of the Bryant & Nancy Hanley Foundation. Reserve your spot now at BlowingRockMuseum.org/calendar.

Join us this evening, Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 6 pm for an inspiring discussion about Impressionist Guy Rose!

Speaker Will South, an artist and historian of American Art with over fifty publications in the field, will examine the question: "With a new retrospective of Rose's work on the horizon, why has his reputation as an artist suffered because of geographical prejudice?" South will also unravel the inspiring story of how one Rose work will travel to California from our very own Blowing Rock!

To register, visit BlowingRockMuseum.org/calendar. Plan to come at 5:30 for the opportunity to meet Will over a glass of wine before his talk.
