Thank you to all our guests at the museum today. We had over 50 guests and alot of families. The weather was beautiful on the spit. Let me remind you that we can do groups of up to 20 during the week. Just contact us and we can make arrangements.

Perfect day to visit our little museum. Cool and rainy outside, warm and dry in the museum. Come on out to the spit and learn about some our local history. Guests from out of town? Bring them out and let them see our beautiful corner of the pnw. Open until 4p.m. today and 12-4 on Sunday. All the volunteers here wish all of you a merry Christmas and happy new-year.

Nn79, our 28ft. Bristol bay gillnetter. She was built in 1927 at the alaska packers semiahmoo boatyard. She spent her working life in Bristol Bay Alaska, and now resides with us here at the museum. Come on in and we will share with you the rest of the history on this boat and the fisherman that worked on her and the many others like her.
