"CACTUS' COLLECTION OF CURIOSITIES" began its evolution in 2002 when a timber faller (me), after two years of trying to decide whether to stay married to the timber or his wife, finally settled in Cochise County, AZ. It started as a storage area for tools no longer used to support the planet's hunger for timber products. It slowly evolved into a place for this faller to find peace and solace as he
pines (pun intended) for a past way of life. CACTUS' COLLECTION OF CURIOSITIES is now home to hundreds of logging artifacts and memorabilia, and a source of comfort and intrigue for folks from every walk of life. If you are a logger feeling alone and displaced from a past way of life, if you have any interest in the timber industry, if you just want to reminisce about the Glory Days, if you like interesting old junk, if you just like good company, if you want to talk about the future of the industry, or if you just can't think of anything better to do, consider a visit to CACTUS' COLLECTION OF CURIOSITIES - Cochise County's only known Logging Museum. The atmosphere is open-minded and everyone is welcome! Our hours of operation are some-to-most weekends, by appointment, and always till midnight on the Saturday closest to the Winter Solstice.
