So our annual ✨big clean✨ got even bigger. The water table will be out for a few more days, but there’s still plenty to do here at the museum.

Today is ✨the big clean✨ for the water table. And we’re gonna level with you, it’s a doozy of a job.

The annual deep clean is where we take apart everything. and we mean EVERYTHING. If there’s a part or piece that comes apart, it’s been undone. Trees, bison, panels, all of it. Filters are changed, it’s scrubbed top to bottom twice over. It’s rinsed out, shop-vacuumed, and rinsed and vacuumed again. We had 5 people working on it today. The regular monthly clean takes about 7 hours, this one takes about 30 labor hours total.

And we could rush the job and have it ready for opening tomorrow. But we feel like we owe it to you to do it the right way and make sure the annual clean gets done as well as it possibly can.

So we’re going to get ready to wrap up for the day and we’ll be back finishing it tomorrow morning.

There’s no water table tomorrow morning, but we’re expecting to be done by about noon. There’s still lots to do at Wise Wonders, everything else is up and running. And, if you love seeing the inner-workings of things, we’re happy to talk about tomorrow while we work!

Thank you all for your understanding, we know this exhibit is massively popular. We’re working hard to make sure it’s around and working for a long, long time.

Young heroes will explore the science behind superpowers! From flying and speed to strength and gadgets, campers will dive into fun STEM activities, experiments, and superhero challenges designed for ages 6–8.

🔧 Engineering Camp
Campers will explore design, building, and problem-solving through hands-on projects and teamwork. From bridges to simple machines, each day brings exciting STEM discoveries and creative challenges.

💡 Little Inventors Workshop
Young innovators will design, build, and test their own imaginative inventions using hands-on materials and simple engineering concepts. Campers will explore problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity while turning big ideas into real, working creations!

🌎Littles “Fun”damentals of Science
Junior scientists will explore the wonders of the world through hands-on discovery! Dig like archaeologists, observe like biologists, study rocks like geologists, and gaze at the stars like astronomers — every day is a new adventure in exploration.

💻Middles: Code, Create, Collaborate
Campers will solve tech-powered challenges, build interactive projects, and use digital tools to think critically, collaborate, and create.
