Thank you to the many people who have helped prepare for out 22nd Annual SN&C Art Show! From mowing lawns, hanging posters, sweeping the barn, sweeping floors, cleaning windows, arranging plants and flowers, setting up doors and walls, hanging art and hanging art and hanging art, mounting artisan's statements, rigging the lighting, feeding the helpers, doing dishes, sharing the news.....

What a production! As of this email, 45+ shy, novice &/or closeted artist are
sharing and showing their art!

Please tell a friend, family, or stranger to come see the show!
Saturday July 4th, 9a.m. -4p.m. Rain &/or Shine
The art is incredible, the inspiration, is over the moon!

Looking for a few creative souls who would like to participate in the Celebratory 4th of July Parade, Saturday morning - marching our Shy, Novice & Closeted Art Show banner (made by SN&C artist in 2006) up Maine Street. Parade line up starts at 9a.m. and goes up Maine Street at 10a.m. It'll be a hot one, but we could have "buckets of Paint" and brushes and sprinkle people as we march. (water in the paint buckets).

Thank you to all the Shy, Novice & Closeted artists who came by yesterday to help clean and hang black and white yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and prepare for our upcoming show.

As of this morning, 34 artist have provided our community and opportunity to see their works of art. Stunning and inspiring.

Twilight is a magical time to see the show. Come celebrate with Shy, Novice and Closeted Artists of past and present. Bring a friend, a handful of fresh flowers, an hors d'oeuvre or beverage.

A talented guitarist and singer from Greenwood, Maine, Maya brings an energetic mix of blues, classic rock, and a few original songs to every performance.

Come early, grab a coffee, browse incredible local artists and makers, and enjoy live music throughout the day at the BAAM Summer Market on Saturday, July 4th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at The Philbrook Place, 162 Main Street, Bethel.

If there's a smidgen of interest, nudge coming from somewhere, a strange tickle in your body - then likely you have a piece of art, of some sort, could be a tin foil sculpture, a horrible self-portrait, a sweet little sketch, a bizarre doodle - then the Shy, Novice & Closeted Art Show, 22nd Annual, is ready to support and encourage you showing your work(s) of art!

Very low key, low stress event. We take the Novice part very seriously. And the show also show's many serious artist's works!. Don't be fooled by the name.

Please drop art June 29, 30, July 1st. We begin hanging the show the afternoon of the 1st and all day on 2nd, last minute entrees on the 3rd. We support the shy!
