Just closed up our 10 day show at the Galleria of Mt Lebanon. Sales were very good but it’s the people who come and go and stop to say hello.

Hopefully join us next fall for another exhibit. We will be looking for you!

Our guest is pastel artist Linda Barnicott who will delight and inspire us with her beautiful scenes of Pittsburgh and holiday Santas. All interested artists are welcome!

Feel Good Story: I was contacted on our Facebook messenger by a man who lives in Irwin, PA and he was looking to find someone from the class of 1967. He had been using a metal detector in McKeesport and found a Bethel Park High School ring which he wanted to return to the owner. I found out what the initials were in the ring and asked fellow board member Harold Rosenberger ('67) if he knew a classmate with those initials. Harold knew immediately since the last name started with a U and there was only one possible solution. Harold gave me the man's contact information and I spoke with him in Virginia. Mr. U lost his high school ring right after graduation at a party at his cousin's home. Party members searched for the ring in the yard, but it was never found. Fifty-five years later the ring is being returned. As a small side note, the cousin's home was none other than former Bethel Park teacher George Meyer! The historical society is bringing history alive.
