RESEARCH:
The Badè Museum continues the work of William Badè and the former Badè Institute of Biblical Archaeology by engaging in on-going research with the permanent Tell en-Nasbeh collection. Much ongoing research of specific artifacts and object types from the collection is done by museum staff and visiting scholars. This work has led to numerous publications, exhibits, lectures on the collection. Information on Past and Current Projects can be found on our site: http://bade.psr.edu/content/research . Tell en-Nasbeh Database:
This project is a digital catalog of all the artifacts, archives, and photographs from the Tell en-Nasbeh Collection at the Badè Museum of Biblical Archaeology at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA. This collection of over 5,800 items derives from the excavations of Tell en-Nasbeh conducted by William Frederic Badè between 1926 and 1935. The project was jointly sponsored by the Pacific School of Religion (PSR) and the American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR) and represents one of the earliest scientific excavations in Israel/Palestine. Dear Friends of the Bade Museum,

I hope you all have enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving and are alright as we head into the holiday season. I’m reaching out after Giving Tuesday to let you know more about the fundraising efforts I’ve been conducting to support the online lecture series sponsored by the Bade Museum of Biblical Archaeology, which focuses on the archaeology and art of ancient Israel and Palestine. These lectures are done live on zoom and then curated and are accessible for free on the Museum’s YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/. We’ve raised 45% of our goal of $30,000 so far, and I’m hoping that a post Giving Tuesday surge will push this percentage over the half-way mark. Given your passion for life long learning and support for our free online content, I’m hoping you might make an end of year donation to the Bade Museum today? You can give at: https://www.psr.edu/give ; just choose “Bade Museum and Institute” in the “I want to support” drop down. No contribution is too small; donations have ranged from $5.00 to $5,000.

With great appreciation and well wishes in the holiday season, Aaron
