What does a crystal taste like?

At the next Wednesdays Over Water, our chefs take inspiration from the luminous minerals in Crystal Bridges' collection, Paula Hayes' immersive "Caves and Minds" installation, and the artistry behind our newest eatery Quartz + Honey to create a one-night-only dining experience. Every course is a fresh interpretation of color, texture, and form—proof that art isn't just something you look at. Sometimes, you taste it.

Back and better than ever.

The Alfred Stieglitz Collection has returned to Crystal Bridges for a special two-year exhibition.

Georgia O’Keeffe gifted these 101 works to Fisk University in 1949. Co-shared by Fisk and Crystal Bridges since 2012, the collection brings together works from modernists like Picasso, Stieglitz, and O’Keeffe, alongside African artworks and more from Stieglitz’s estate.

“Many Ways of Seeing: The Alfred Stieglitz Collection” is now on view in Bigelow Bridge. Go take a look.

CLOSING JULY 27 🇺🇸

This is your last chance to see 'America 250: Common Threads'! Experience how people have celebrated national and personal moments in history, from a display of hundreds of 20th century patriotic snapshots to souvenirs collected from America’s Centennial in 1876.

The exhibition explores the symbols artists turn to when celebrating or commenting on the United States: George Washington’s many faces, eagles appearing across books, baskets, and coverlets, flags seen as quilts or as documentation of the moon landing, and more.

Go ahead—take a piece of candy. In the second episode of CURATED: Art in a Minute, Stace Treat, Director of Interpretation, tells the story behind "“Untitled” (L.A.)" by Felix Gonzalez-Torres.

More than a sweet gesture, this installation invites you to become part of the artwork itself. Created in 1991, the same year the artist's longtime partner, Ross Laycock, died from complications of AIDS, the work transforms an ordinary material into a powerful meditation on love, loss, memory, and renewal.

By providing for the endless replenishment of this supply of this candy, the artist symbolically grants this work everlasting life 💚
