It is done - I finished and signed the mural for The Saline Courier's
150 yrs Celebration. I was honored to be ask and they have been
wonderful with my crazy schedule. The Courier will make a post
sometime this weekend of the last day and signing.

Walk into my world of 150 years of the Saline Courier.
My schedule has been crazy and its been awhile sense
my last post. It's been a fun trip with unexpected
stories from the past and twisting and painting their
way to "The Wall". Thursday I will sign the mural after
I finish a few shadows and double checking the design.
Hope you will have time to give it a visit and maybe
bring back some of your memories from the past.

face and figure drawing, animals and birds.

Class starts and I forget to take photos, trying to do better and share what

Sept 6, 1919 made the cover of the Saturday Evening Post with “Lazybones” A great example of our Labor Day mood. 😂

Did you know Sept 6th is ? First published for the 1919 cover of The Saturday Evening Post, Norman Rockwell’s Lazybones accurately captures a Weekend mood.

Long missing after being stolen from a Cherry Hill, NJ home in 1976, the original oil painting was recovered by the FBI’s Art Crime Division in 2017, and generously loaned for temporary view in our galleries that year.
