My favorite things: Birds, being out in nature, and bold color. I have a friend who dubbed my bird paintings ‘Bandy Birds’ and it stuck. How do these make you feel?
I feed birds throughout the year and provide water when I can. It’s really gratifying and I get a lot of enjoyment out of it. I feel like the little ones who winter-over are the reward, the little birdy icing on the cake!

This little mountain chickadee is one of many who winter-over in Bend. I love their spirit, and it’s gratifying to feed throughout the year. I feel like little guys like this are the reward.

I feed birds throughout the year and provide water when I can. It’s really gratifying and I get a lot of enjoyment out of it. I feel like the little ones who winter-over are the reward, the little birdy icing on the cake!
