Universal Language opens here at PCA this evening and we’ll have all three featured artists with us for the reception. Korey Gulbrandson, Emily Fox King and Carolyn Cole have put together quite an amazing collection of works for us to get excited about! Downtown Bend First Friday Reception this evening from 5:00 to 8:00pm and the show is on display throughout the month of April. We hope to see you soon!

Very happy to be welcoming Arizona artist, Anton Nowels into the PCA family. We now have his fresh “Clouds Over the West” series on display here in downtown Bend, Oregon and we’ll be looking forward to sharing it with you.

“Clouds Over the West explores how reflected light transforms color as clouds move across Western landscapes. The shifting sky becomes a unifying force, connecting desert, mountain, and plain. Rooted in my experience painting outdoors, this series reflects my deep connection to the West’s vastness, movement, and quiet continuity.” ~Anton Nowels

Anton will be back on the gallery in March for our downtown First Friday Art-walk on Friday, March 6, 5-8pm and I know he would love to meet you. Hope you can join us! Welcome aboard Anton!

“In a Different Light” opens this evening here at PCA and these two artists have really taken things to the next level! We have an outstanding body of work from Utah artist, Brandt Berntson and also Virgina artist, Maggie Siner. The gallery is looking wonderful and we’re excited to be celebrating the opening and reception this evening as part of Downtown Bend’s First Friday art walk. Show opens at 5pm with live music, wine samples and Brandt will also be with us to discuss his process. We really hope you can join us, but if not tonight, the show will be available for viewing throughout the month of February! See you soon!

We’re very excited to be opening “Variations” tonight at PCA featuring fabulous new collections by Brian Sindler, Christian Burchard and Peter Wright. “Creative Fields” opens this evening here at Peterson Contemporary Art, featuring beautiful new works by Rebecca Haines, Sandra Pratt and Tyler Swain! This is a gorgeous show and we’re looking forward to sharing it with the community. We hope you can join us on Friday, September 19th or Saturday, September 20th for a special and unique experience! Here at Peterson Contemporary Art we’ll be hosting Nashville, Tennessee’s Debe Dohrer for a two day Trunk Show! She’ll be unveiling a beautiful new collection and will be here to talk shop on both days from 1-7pm. As you can see from this post, the work is outstanding and we’ll be here to assist you in trying any of them on. You can meet Debe, sip wine and explore the collection here in Downtown Bend. Mockingbird Gallery is thrilled to open "Rural Paths", tonight, Friday, September 5th from 5-8pm. This three-person show featuring painters Steven Lee Adams, Joseph Alleman and Eric G. Two of our very talented Oregon artists have supplied us with fresh work and have agreed to hang out with us this evening to kick off our September. We had such a great First Friday opening on August 1st, and enjoyed a packed house all evening long. Thank you Bend for always supporting our efforts! Although we’re a little over half through the month, there’s still plenty of time left in August for you to get down to PCA for the “Less is More” three artist show featuring these incredibly talented ladies! We have gorgeous new works in from Valerie Winterholler, Jerri Lisk and Wendy Chidester, so we hope you can stop by to take in the beautiful display! Cheers!
