A customer found a Chinese book that the mother had gotten while visiting China. It was a book that folded out like an accordion. The artwork size was 12” x 96”. They wanted to know if we could fold the book open and have it framed with museum-quality glass. This would be a difficult project for many framers. We substituted Fabric for the mat board and used acrylic Museum glass. Also, special care had to be given to the hanging apparatus due to the weight. The family was pleased with this project. We used conservation methods on the book so that it could be removed if needed and not be damaged.

Vince is holding an oil painting that a customer found in a closet. His father had painted it, and he wanted to be able to put it up on the wall. Using his frame, we placed museum glass on the front, along with two beautiful mat boards and a foam board backer, making it a complete package. He was thrilled with the final result.
