The electric trains for our young engineers are running well at Belhaven Train Days. We are running Marklin and LGB. Today we are open untill 3:30. Sunday from Noon until 4. Stop by!

The trains are running! We are open at the caboose as well. Belhaven Train Days. Hours today are until 3:30. Tomorrow from Noon until 4. There is plenty of space that is out of the rain.

You have probably heard about the Union Pacific 4014, "Big Boy" steam locomotivethat is making a trip across the United States to celebrate the country's 250th birthday. It is the largest operating steam locomotive that was ever built.

That train is not scheduled to get close to us in Belhaven. However, we have steam trains of our own - though a bit smaller.

Here is a steam powered model of another locomotive that the Union Pacific still has in active service, the 844. This is typical of the trains that we will be running this weekend during Belhaven Train Days, May 2 and 3. Hours are Saturday 10 - 3:30, Sunday Noon until 4 PM. (Even if it rains!)

Come for caboose tours, outdoor electric trains to run, live steam trains, and local railroad history. Admission is FREE!

Bring the family. Plan to join us.
