This should be a busy and fun day for young and old, and in between!
Wednesday, August 12th from 10:00-3:00 we will be having Youth Day! A day just for our students to celebrate you before school starts. The scheduled events for the day include:
*10:30-2:30 - Free wagon rides available every 15 minutes.
*11:30- Presentation by Leslie Mehaffey from Bedford Museum on the history of Gross Orchard and Bedford County.
*1:00-2:00-Walking tour of our 5th generation orchard led by Ronnie Gross, focusing on fruit, fruit production, research and development.
In addition Crazy Dawgs will be set up as a vendor selling hot dogs, snacks, and Peach Slushies.
Get your family, youth groups, friends together and come enjoy a fun-filled day of fun, learning and history!
