Good morning SETX! BCM is open today, and we’re excited to welcome you and your little ones for Toddler Takeover. This isn’t a structured program day—activities will be happening throughout the morning to keep the kids engaged and having fun!

Join us for story time at 10:00 AM and again at 11:00 AM, with plenty of "A is for Apple" activities sprinkled throughout the day in the classroom.

Please note, we’re monitoring the weather and may close early this afternoon for everyone's safety. We hope you can stop by the museum for some fun and electricity! 🍎💡😄

We had a T-Rexcellent time participating in the Collaborative Summer Library Program at our local libraries this summer! 📖🦖🦕⛏ The 2026 Summer Reading Program theme: Unearth a Story™, was Pterrific and we had so much fun making volcanoes and sensory bottles, digging up fossils, coloring, and reading with everyone!

Thank you to Beaumont Public Library System, Bridge City Public Library, Buna Public Library, Groves Public Library, Groves Texas, Kirbyville Public Library, Kountze Public Library, Lumberton Public Library, Ncpl Newtontx, Orange Public Library, Port Arthur Public Library, and Silsbee Public Library for inviting us! And thank you to BASF Science Education in North America for partnering with us to bring some prehistoric fun to Southeast Texas!
