For the kids - FREE coloring sheet of my St Anthony Preaching to the Fish painting. It’s a little distorted in spots but that’s AI for you. 🤪

The story:
In the 13th century, Saint Anthony of Padua went to Rimini to preach about how to follow Jesus through humility and obedience. He was ignored and mocked. Frustrated with humans, he decided to preach to the fish at the river instead. To everyones amazement, thousands of fish gathered to listen to him. This miracle showed that even animals can recognize the importance of faith.

Symbolism intentionally included in this artwork:
•7 fish (sacraments, gifts of the Holy Spirit, etc)
•9 different types of flowers (novena, fruits of the Holy Spirit, etc)
•3 knots hanging on the cincture (Holy Trinity)
•An Olive Tree (peace and reconciliation)
•His tonsure (haircut resembling the crown of thorns)
•Standing on rock (Jesus Christ, faith, truth, etc)
