This commission was inspired by a collectorโ€™s favorite view, brought to life through layers of color, texture, and carefully painted details.

From the initial reference photos to the finishing touches, every step was about capturing what makes this scene meaningful and turning it into a custom encaustic work of art.

Have a favorite view or special place youโ€™d love to see transformed into original art? Iโ€™d love to hear your idea.

Two paintings, two moods, one beautiful Lowcountry landscape.

From golden blooms to dramatic blue skies, each piece captures a different feeling of the coast.

Which one would you choose for your home, the golden blooms or the deep blues?

Both pieces available Windhorse Gallery in Port Royal, SC.

The second annual plain air invitational at Windhorse Gallery was nothing short of amazing! Even in the midst of the leftover hurricane, we were all able to create beautiful art and come together as a creative community. How did I get so lucky to be a part of such an amazing art community? Iโ€™m so grateful for all the hard work put into this event, all the gallery staff, Dan and Katy, the judges, all the artist who traveled to be here, and the support from everyone who showed up to the WetPaint party on Sunday to celebrate everything we work so hard for! The final art pieces are hanging in the Gallery. Stopped by from 11 to 7 PM seven days a week to check it out!

A weekend of art, inspiration, and seeing the Lowcountry through an artistโ€™s eyes.

A few moments from

From the beauty of the landscape to the brushstrokes on each canvas, every artist brought their own perspective to the places that inspire us. It was wonderful to see the artwork, the creative process, and the community that comes together through art.

Sometimes, all it takes is a different perspective to see the beauty in a familiar place.
