In conversation with alumni, family members, and scholars, each episode explores life on campus, the teachers who left a mark, and the school’s enduring role in African American education and the life of the Lowcountry.

The podcast is a project of the University of South Carolina Beaufort in partnership with the Mather School Museum & Interpretive Center, part of Reconstruction Era National Historical Park.
