❤️ Our Mission: History for Everyone
We’re launching the next phase of our Accessibility Plan, ensuring that every visitor — of every ability — can fully experience and enjoy the museum. Thanks to community support in recent years, we’ve already:

·Rearranged exhibits for easier access
·Improved lighting and signage throughout the building
·Introduced sensory‑friendly openings during special events

Now, during Big Give Gage, we’re asking our community to help us take the next step.

🔧 Your Big Give Support Adds Essential Tools:
Two loaner autism sensory bags for visitors with sensory needs

An OrCam MyEye reading assistance device for guests with visual or reading accessibility challenges

These additions remove barriers, create welcoming experiences, and help every member of our community connect with local history.

💛 Your Gift Makes a Difference
Every donation — large or small — helps us build a museum that truly serves everyone in Gage County. Together, we can ensure that all visitors have the opportunity to explore, learn, and feel at home in our shared history.

On Big Give Day, we put that power into action.

Thank you for supporting local history, accessibility, and the future of our museum.

Do you know someone who can bring history to life?
Our Harvest Festival on October 10, 2026 is looking for historical craft vendors and demonstrators to join us from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

If you practice a traditional craft, make something by hand, or know a friend or family member with a unique historical skill, we’d love to hear from you.

Your connections can help make this year’s Harvest Festival a meaningful and memorable experience for our community.

If someone comes to mind, please call or email the museum.
