⛪🎨☀Saturday, August 15 10am-4pm! ⛪🎨☀

The historic Christ Episcopal Church in Bayfield is home to the Icon of 'Our Lady Walsingham' a stunning hand-painted masterpiece created by artist Christine Pohuly in 1996. Blending traditional sacred art with symbols inspired by the Bayfield region and Native American artistic influences, this remarkable icon is unlike any other. Be sure to stop in the Christ Episcopal Church at 125 N 3rd St, Bayfield, WI for the 30th anniversary of the icon as it will be on display from 10AM to 4PM and discover the story behind this sacred gem as well one of Wisconsin’s best-preserved historic Carpenter’s Gothic churches (built in 1870). Free to the public.

It's complete! Bravo to Marvin DeFoe and all involved! Look out for its maiden journey on August 22.
