USS Edson Home of National Historic Landmark,
USS EDSON (DD 946) Guests are invited to tour the decommissioned, Vietnam-Era Destroyer. Much of the ship is open to view.

Tours are self-guided unless otherwise noted. Adult tickets are $14, Veterans are $12, kids 4 - 17 are $10, kids 4 and under are free. Tin Can Sailor Association members are admitted free with proof of membership. Active duty personal are free with an ID card.

Day 1 of our Field days is underway! Thank you to Flint Jr NROTC for their crew today and thanks to HQ butcher for providing lunch! We will have 5-2-oh ! food truck parked here tomorrow and Thursday!! If any of my volunteers see this and I didnt tag you please chime in!! Pics will be posted later.

We got some new updates to the Edson. Outbound Hope Mission LARP (live action role playing) have rented the ship for two weeks for one of their missions. Inside the ship has been changed into a space ship 200 years in the future. They have put alot of work into this and have players from all over the world. Next week the ship will be back to normal.
