The Historical Museum of Bay County needs volunteers for Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM or 1 -4 PM! Other days and times available as needed.

Volunteering at the museum is a great way to stay involved in the community, meet new people, and learn about Bay County history.

Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and collect admission fees
- Operate a cash register
- Provide high-quality customer service to visitors
- Dust and clean the gift shop
- Answer the phone and take messages.

Happy Flag Day, the day to commemorate the adoption of the United States national flag! In honor of this day, we wanted to show you all a significant and storied US flag. This 45-star flag was most likely presented to Company C of the 33rd Michigan Volunteer Infantry Regiment in 1898 upon the Company's return home to Michigan. The 33rd Regiment participated in the Spanish American War and fought in Cuba.

The museum is open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 4 PM.

This is a great time to explore the galleries, check out the Jerry Lynch exhibit in the Bay County Sports Hall of Fame section, watch a Michigan Rock and Roll Legend documentary in the theater, let your preschoolers play in the PBS Reading Room, and shop in the gift shop.

Admission: $2/person or $5/Family, Bay County Residents & BCHS Members: FREE
