Instead of Coffee & Conversation on the 1st Thursday, we are having COOKOUT & CONVERSATION to celebrate the holiday weekend in July! Please join us for a community cookout and ice cream at Veteran's Park in Elmwood from 11-1 on Thursday, July 2nd.

A big THANK YOU to Jim Krause and Don Adank for all their work done yesterday at our Elmwood office. They installed a new display shelf Don had donated as well as installing shelving inside an old display case that came out of Elmwood's Gilles pharmacy, which was also donated by Don. These two guys have been very generous with their time and resources, we appreciate them so much!

Please join The Prescott Area Historical Society for their Prescott Sharing and Show-and-Tell series at the Prescott History Center on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Guest speaker, Paul Magee, will informally share stories about his grandparents, Irwin and Helen Magee, along with family history and insights regarding the photos in the attached collage from the Bob and Gayle Magee collection.

Everyone is invited to attend this Prescott Area Historical Society event at the Prescott History Center, 235 Broad Street, Prescott. Coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. Whether you are a local resident or simply interested in learning more about Prescott’s history through these unique items, we would love to see you there.

The Prescott Area Historical Society hosts these informal gatherings on the third Monday of every month at 1:00 p.m. Please note that there will be no session in July, and our regular gatherings will resume on August 17th.
