I have been enamored with art since childhood, but there is something so special about fused glass. In the 10 years I've been working with fused glass, I have discovered multiple new techniques to elicit the greatest amount of beauty from the glass. As it picks up the light or the colors surrounding it, it takes on a different allure. I enjoy challenging myself to create one-of-a-kind pieces. The

process of glass fusion, in particular, amazes me in that you can take mere shards of transparent, opaque, iridescent and colored glass, cut them in various shapes and sizes, layer them, and fire them in a kiln to create amazing effects in functional and decorative finished pieces. The transformation from individual pieces of glass to the fused design is incredible.
