The Wolf Academy Historic Site is the home of the Governor Wolf Historical Society. We are a historic site in East Allen Township that was part of the early Scots-Irish settlement. Wolf Academy (ca 1785), Ralston-McKeen House (ca 1795), and Monocacy School, with the beautiful Nye Garden as a centerpiece to the buildings. wnship Academy, studied law, was appointed postmaster by Thos. Jefferson, became 7th Governor of PA, from 1827 to 1835. He was instrumental in the passage of the Common School Act in 1834 that created the public school system in PA.
