🇺🇸 A Mission Coming Full Circle! 🇺🇸

We were honored to welcome members of this Bravo Unit and their families to the Standin’ Proud Veterans Tribute Museum! ❤️

The group enjoyed a guided tour, videos, and a documentary that hit close to home. Some members got to see themselves on the big screen as their previously captured stories came to life. They also trusted us with the opportunity to capture even more stories!

This is what our mission is all about—honoring those who served, preserving their stories, and keeping their experiences alive for future generations.

To the Bravo Unit and your families, thank you for your service, for spending time with us, and for trusting us with your stories. We are proud to help keep them Standin’ Proud! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 A Field Trip That Was Close to Home! 🇺🇸

There’s something special about watching kids discover history beyond the pages of a textbook—and this field trip was especially meaningful to host! ❤️ One student even had the opportunity to see his own dad’s military items on display in the museum, making the experience that much more personal.

The students also got to hear from a local Air Force veteran as she shared her personal experiences and stories of service. They had plenty of great questions, too! It was wonderful to see their curiosity and interest as they learned more about the people behind our nation’s history.

Moments like these remind us why preserving our veterans’ stories matters. History becomes so much more meaningful when students can connect it to their own families and community.

🍎 TEACHERS & SCHOOLS — WE’D LOVE TO HOST YOUR CLASS! Our museum offers students a unique opportunity to explore military history, see real artifacts, and learn about the men and women who have served our country.

📩 Message us to plan your next school field trip! Let’s work together to inspire the next generation to honor our veterans and keep their stories alive. ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 Another great guided tour at Standin’ Proud earlier this week! ❤️

We enjoyed great conversations and even had some pop-in visitors who shared a personal connection to one of our exhibits, giving even more insight into the story behind it!

Our visitors were on their way to Whispering Pines of Clinton County afterward, and we’re so glad they made time to stop by! (Thank you Dana Timmermann for coordinating!)

Ready to schedule your guided tour? Give us a call at 📞 618-598-6147. We’d love to welcome you!

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of visitors to the museum— including some familiar faces returning to see us again. ❤️🇺🇸

Sharing captured stories with our visitors and listening to their own personal stories is what makes our mission so meaningful. It’s more than history—it’s about remembering the people behind it.

Every story matters. Every veteran matters.

We hope you’ll come visit us and spend some time with these stories. 🇺🇸
You can reach out to us via Facebook or phone (618-598-6147) to schedule your visit. *Appointments are not required.

📷 Some stories were captured… but never told.

We’ll never know every picture it took... But that’s what makes pieces like this worth preserving.

Every artifact has a story.
Every photograph has a story.
And every veteran has a story worth remembering. 🇺🇸

Come see the stories waiting to be discovered at Standin’ Proud Veterans Tribute Museum.

A veteran is welcomed home.
Crowds cheer.
Flags wave.
Tears fill eyes.
And a new generation watches.

An Honor Flight Welcome Home isn’t just a celebration—it’s a firsthand experience of gratitude, sacrifice, and service.

Because when the next generation sees it, feels it, and experiences it -- they carry those stories forward.

We can’t just remember. We have to pass it on. 🇺🇸

History is meant to be shared!

At Standin’ Proud, we believe history brings people together and helps connect generations. So, we’re inviting our community to join our History Book Swap!

Here is how it will work ⬇️
📖 Take a book.
📖 Leave a book.
📖 Keep history moving.

Have a military or history book you’ve finished? Bring it to the museum and pass it along to a fellow community member.

Whether you’re looking for your next great read or have a book to share, come be part of it! 🇺🇸
