Check out the events we have for Community Day this Saturday!

Community Day is the last day the museum is open for the 2026 season before we close for the winter. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Community Day, admission to the museum is FREE.

Come see the exhibits and enjoy the fall festivities!

Join us for Community Day this Saturday, October 24th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.! Get on the radio with Chris Popper, enjoy cupcakes, play games, and celebrate the launch of our 80th Anniversary!

At 10 a.m., listen to Wabanaki Stories with Jennifer Pictou. At 11:15 a.m., we will have a Land Acknowledgement dedication and music with Hawk Henries. We're also having special guests Friends of Acadia and Seal Cove Auto, who have partnered with us for this event!

This Friday the 23rd at 6 p.m., we're also having a special membership drive event of the one-act play "Lace Curtain Irish," written by Carolyn Gage and performed by Katie Migdal. This one-act play about the infamous Lizzie Borden story will have you hanging on to your seat! Tickets are $20 (link in comments), and the event is limited to 40 seats.

Join us for our annual meeting on Tuesday, October 13th at 5 p.m.! Members can vote in elections, and there will also be a special presentation and film. We can't wait to see you there!

Thank you Bar Harbor Story for your coverage of the guided tour by Cameron DePaola of Riverside Group LLC to see his fantastic landscape work on the former Reef Point property. We were thrilled to coordinate this event and to support programs that bring history to life for the community.
