Our Founder, Loren Colman was recently featured on Boston’s Channel 5 when did a retrospective story on the Dover Demon, one Massachusetts’s most famous cryptids! In April of 1977 a small orange-skinned humanoid was seen along a road in Dover, Massachusetts - Loren Coleman was the first investigator there, and coined the term Dover Demon. The rest is history… check out the whole story in the link below and at the International Cryptozoology Museum, in - you can see an amazing life size statue by Kim Parkhurst and 20,000 other cryptozoology artifacts. Starting October first we’re open from 10-5pm seven days a week!

Head on over to the International Cryptozoology Museum in Bangor, Maine we have 20,000 artifacts celebrating humanity’s search for unknown creatures! Whether you are interested in art, pop culture, anthropology, natural history, or just a great story you are sure to find something to fill you with a sense of wonder and oddity in the Museum’s 6000+ square feet of exhibits. We’re open seven days a week through the New Year. For the rest of September our hours are 10-6pm daily, in October we’ll be open from 10-5pm.
