Come along with us as we celebrate the United States' 250th birthday with a special Revolutionary walk through Bangor's historic Mount Hope Cemetery. Explore the fascinating stories of those buried there who took part in the Revolution and of the families whose legacies shaped Conduskeag Plantation (Bangor) before 1800.
Tour Dates: July 5th at 10am, July 25th at 6pm, August 16th at 10am, September 8th at 6pm,
September 13th at 10am.
Tickets go on sale at noon on Tuesday, June 23rd.
This walking tour lasts approximately an hour and a half and covers some hilly terrain. Appropriate attire and water are encouraged.
This tour meets at the Superintendent’s Lodge at Mt. Hope Cemetery, accessed by the 1048 State Street gate, Bangor.
Tickets are $12 per person.
In case of inclement weather, tours will be canceled if there is a chance of thunderstorms, but not if only rain is in the forecast.
Tickets must be purchased ahead of time.
Tickets for the 6 PM tour may be purchased until Noon on the day of the tour. Tickets for the 10 AM tour may be purchased until 6 PM the previous evening.
Our tours will be capped at 20 guests.
