May Classes:
Collage Group is being offered by Susan Lehman, local artist, on the FIRST and THIRD Wednesdays of each month. We are meeting at the BANDON SENIOR CENTER in City Park from 1-3:00 pm. We set up tables beginning at 12:30. No formal class instruction offered, but we can get you started in collage. Please bring what you have been working on, materials you need, a plastic table covering and a suggested donation of $3 - $5. We love seeing what everyone has been doing. Thurs. – May 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th - Bargue Drawing Course with Jen Lee This is an ongoing drawing course. Students cultivate patience and a keen eye for detail. How to observe detail, negative shapes, measuring, values, and accuracy will improve drawing ability. Jen will give demonstrations and students will have time to practice. Students will also be given constructive critiques. $45 per class Throughout the month, the Bargue Drawing classes will be held on Thursdays by appointment. Students to provide own materials. Thurs. – May 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th - Watercolor with Jen Lee Beginner to intermediate Skills taught at student’s own comfort level – loose watercolor to precise work. Throughout the month, watercolor classes will be held on Thursdays by appointment. $45 per class Students may provide own materials, which include brushes, watercolors, paper, board & tape. $10 materials fee if teacher provides student materials. Throughout the month, Oil Painting classes will be held on Thursdays by appointment. $45 per class Students to provide own materials (oil paints - not water soluble), mediums, brushes, & canvas.
