The Lone Rock Depot committee held a meeting on August 10th.

The organization has recently received its non profit (501-c-3) designation which was set up to ease business needs. This status qualifies the Depot to more easily apply for grants and allow for charitable donations to be easily made.

Lone Rock native, John Cotton, a guest at the meeting is eager to see the Museum and other Lone Rock historical entities thrive. To help the new organization move forward, John gave a generous gift in hopes others who have love for Lone Rock will consider donating to this organization, as well.
