Dresser 309 : The big reveal! My pieces have been delivered to ReFurnishings and will be available for bids at the Thrift & Flip fundraiser on April 24th at The Wire in Coxsackie. Details are in the last pic. Dresser 309 gives a moody maximalism vibe by modernizing a traditional dresser. Using matte black to contrast the wood details as well as adding the cheetah-like print gives a wild playful energy.

The 3rd time’s a charm 🌟 I’ve painted this stool three times now 😬 I think this time it’s a keeper! Inspiration came by colors, style and a Dresden Plate quilt pattern. Colors: Jaipur Pink, Arles, Olive, Canvas and Paprika Red. I also tossed in some one hour enamel on the rungs where feet will sit in Spanish Olive and Pink Suede.

I always have a few projects going on at the same time. This one is my first project working with the help of the Main Street Studio in Charlton.
Part one is to add the “X” shape into the middle section to help support the piece since it’s a bit wobbly.
I learned a lot from Jason about wood work and carpentry and got the “X” installed!
Part two will be to paint it!
Any color suggestions?
