🗣️ Closing this week!

This Sunday, August 30 is your last chance to spend time with Ann Diener: The Invented Land.

A fourth-generation descendant of a California farming family, Ann Diener offers a deeply layered and visually immersive investigation of the San Joaquin Valley’s past, present, and future. The Invented Land uses drawing, sculpture, and installation to examine the transformation of land through industrial agriculture, environmental change, and cultural memory.

We are open Wednesdays through Sundays 11 AM to 5 PM.

A critique and an homage…

Join Ann Diener as she discusses her solo exhibition The Invented Land. Acclaimed art critic Shana Nys Dambrot will moderate an engaging discussion with an audience Q&A.

In The Invented Land, Diener uses layered surfaces that integrate architectural schematics, botanical imagery, and historical cartography to advance conversations around land art, environmental change, and visual storytelling.

Following the discussion is a reception where you can mingle, reflect on the exhibition, and chat with the artist.

Wine and light culinary pairings inspired by themes present in Ann’s work will be catered by Heather Laganelli

Escape the heat and do good!

On Sunday, August 9, take a short drive to the coast and visit sensoriopaso , 35 acres of light installations that illuminate the rolling hills of Central CA’s wine country.

Walk easy paths through more than 100,000 glowing bulbs, like bioluminescent flowers from a jewel-toned fantasy land.

Explore several solar-powered exhibits that merge light and music technology with dreamy color in a sensory experience you have to see to understand.

✨Best of all✨ a portion of all ticket sales that evening support BMoA!
