The Country Doctor Museum is proud to introduce Aaron Williford, our Site Manager!

Aaron is a Bailey native with a passion for preserving history and sharing the stories that make our community unique. A 2021 graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degree in history, Aaron brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to every visitor's experience.

Since joining the Country Doctor Museum in 2024, Aaron has helped welcome guests from across North Carolina and beyond. He also serves as a historic interpreter at Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site, giving him a wealth of experience in bringing history to life.

Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning to explore again, Aaron looks forward to welcoming you and helping you discover the fascinating story of rural medicine.

Some updates here at the museum! Our last day that we will be open with our normal business hours will be Tuesday, June 23rd. We will be closed June 24th- July 1st for a transition of stewardship. Follow along on our website for the latest updates. Come see us today or Tuesday!
