But winning (or losing) a summary judgment motion often turns on evidentiary issues, such as admissibility, authentication, and complying with discovery procedures. This presentation focuses on properly using evidence and dealing with improper evidence. It also includes an overview of the newly adopted summary judgment rule, which the Supreme Court adopted on March 1, 2026.
