October 2017 SciTech Hands On Museum opened its new Early Learning Center with new hands on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) programs. SciTech’s “Little Learner Labs” are a great opportunity for preschool age children to get a chance to explore and discover the wonders of the world in a safe and educational environment. Each set of “Little Learner Labs” will discuss a dif

ferent topic with fun and engaging activities. “Little Learner Labs” is a drop-off style program, that allows the child to meet and socialize with other children their age during the lessons. Registration for Little Learner Labs is available at www.scitechmuseum.org . SciTech’s Early Learning Center will also be offering “Discover With Me Workshops”. This program is free with museum admission on select days. “Discover With Me Workshops” are a great opportunity for parents to explore the wonders of STEAM with their children. During the sessions, a SciTech Educator will be on hand to explain and assist you and your children with the activities. SciTech is also partnering with the Aurora Public Library for SciTech Storytimes. “SciTech Storytimes” allow parents and their children to enjoy fun, engaging stories followed by STEAM based hands on activities. “SciTech Storytimes” will be co-lead by a Librarian from the Aurora’s Santori Public Library and a SciTech Museum Educator.
