A magical feeling has taken over The Durham Museum and we are ready to share it with you! The much-anticipated 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨-𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 opens to the public on Tuesday, November 21, and just in time for the holiday season!

The Durham Museum is partnering with the The Rosemary Clooney House and private collectors Stephen and Heather French Henry to host this majestic exhibit. Filled with a resonating patriotic theme supported by unforgettable song and dance routines, Michael Curtiz’s musical film 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘴 (1954) became an instant classic. Experience film costumes created by legendary designer Edith Head and worn by the star-studded cast of Bing Cosby, Rosemary Clooney, Danny Kaye and Vera-Ellen. Don’t miss out some iconic costumes, including the blue “Sisters” dresses and Vera-Ellen’s sparkling “Mandy” outfit.

Join us in celebrating the music, costumes and pageantry in an exhibit that is sure to be a highlight of the holiday season! 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨-𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 is on display through January 28, 2024.

Thank you to everyone who came out this week to see the White Christmas Collection before it travels to The Durham Museum in Omaha, NE. The museum is now on winter operation and is only open by appointment only to see the other collections. We appreciate everyone’s support and will see you back at Rosie’s in April 2024!

Due to popular demand as we transition the White Christmas Collection out for the holidays we have decided to have a special museum day for the Rosemary Clooney House Museum on Monday, November 6th from 12-3pm. (It’s traveling to The Durham Museum in Omaha…just for the holidays)

* *The absolute last day to see the collection at the house for this season is November 9th from 9am-3pm. (It will be back in April)

The last day of this year to see the "White Christmas Collection" here at The Rosemary Clooney House is November 9th from 9am - 3pm. It will then travel for the holidays to The Durham Museum in Omaha, NE where it will be on display from middle of November to January of 2024.

We will be having a surprise dedication tomorrow at the 11am at The Rosemary Clooney House tomorrow (Saturday) during Art In The Garden! There will be new items added to the White Christmas Collection from Robert Alton, the Choreographer, and a special piece first seen in Holiday Inn but later used in White Christmas…over 11 times in the background! Such fun! Come join us at Rosie’s House!

Rosemary was "second mom" to so many, including Shaun Cassidy, Todd Fisher, Gavin deBecker, and others.

How’s this for a great Sunday evening? Nestled on the couch, fireplace aglow, kids everywhere, watching my second mom, Rosemary Clooney, in “White Christmas” alongside my real mom, Shirley, and Tracey’s mom, Judy. Dogs sprawled on top of all of us, pig sprawled on the floor.
