Beyond the Business Card is an energetic, fast-paced speed networking experience introduced by the Greater Atlantic City Chamber to help members expand their connections in a meaningful and efficient way. Held on the second Tuesday of every month from 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM, this program creates a structured yet engaging environment where professionals can meet new contacts, exchange insights, and build relationships that support business growth.

🅿️ Parking rates vary by hour in the connected WAVE Garage, pay directly at kiosk upon departure.
Alternatively, there is free street parking on Mississippi or Arctic Avenues in the Ducktown neighborhood.

Local teachers from Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School attended a professional development workshop held at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University this Monday where they learned kinusaiga from teaching artist Jane Medio. 🪡

Kinusaiga is a contemporary Japanese textile technique created by Maeno Setsu in 1987 that combines elements of traditional textile techniques with modern materials and methods. Using fabric, each participant created these layered and textural collages.

Activities and music throughout the morning and afternoon. Ribbon cutting and formal launch, noon to 1PM.

About the event:
Join Monument Artist Immanuel Oni and the NJMML team for the launch of the Flagship Sailbus at Brighton Park, on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Inspired by a year’s worth of multigenerational conversations and programs with community stakeholders in Millville, Bridgeton, Seabrook, Port Norris, Roebling, and Atlantic City, Flagship brings to life the stories of labor and migration that define South Jersey’s past, and its present.

To further animate the completed installation, Oni will lead participants in art activities designed to bring to life Atlantic City’s “sites of memory,” and to reflect on the buildings and businesses that played host to Black migrants and immigrants who arrived in Atlantic City in the early twentieth century. Oni will also work with participants to create art that recognizes Atlantic City’s dynamic, changing population, and the Bangladeshi, Mexican, and Vietnamese immigrants who have come to the city more recently.

This program is supported by the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.

Monument Artist Immanuel Oni and the NJMML team are launching Flagship Sailbus at Brighton Park, adjacent to the Atlantic City boardwalk. The piece is inspired by a year’s worth of multigenerational conversations and programs with community stakeholders in Millville, Bridgeton, Seabrook, Port Norris, Roebling, and Atlantic City.
