Our clients enjoy the consistent quality, the welcoming environment and the knowledgeable staff. At Pryor Fine Art we believe in an unfaltering truth that a work of art is capable of creating an indescribable connection between the artist and it's viewer. Pryor Fine Art was founded as Bennett Street Gallery in 1988 by artist and business entrepreneur Susie Grant Pryor, and was one of the first galleries on the Buckhead antique alley now known as Bennett Street. Pryor Fine Art’s mission is to engage a contemporary stable of artists who exemplify innovation in technique, content and quality. Our clients enjoy the consistent quality, the welcoming environment, and the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Today Pryor Fine Art represents over 40 artists who make up an exciting profusion of invention and varied techniques. While our artists offer a range of painting styles and artistic genre, there is a common thread of competence, originality and emotive intrigue. The thrill and joy of dealing art come from close relationships with artists and patrons alike. Nurturing our artists to continue to create and evolve is just as satisfying as sharing their work with our clients. Pryor Fine Art strives to present artists and paintings that transcend and transform everyday objects and moments, all the while, providing the collector with a peaceful place to connect with these emotive, original works of art. The gallery is a nationally recognized liaison between a successful stable of artists and collectors everywhere.

Artist Spotlight | Catherine Woskow — Part 1

In Part 1 of our Artist Spotlight Series, our curator, Christina McClelland, introduces the new paintings of Catherine Woskow, offering insight into her artistic process and distinctive approach to drawing.

Among the techniques Christina discusses is Catherine’s use of blind contour drawing to create faces, hands, and feet. She also explores the importance of intuition in Catherine’s process and how her paintings capture the energy of everyday moments and human interaction.

We invite you to visit Pryor Fine Art to experience Catherine’s remarkable new paintings in person.

Stay tuned for Part 2, as Christina continues her discussion of Catherine’s work.

Catherine Woskow | Artist Spotlight

A striking selection of new paintings by Catherine Woskow is now available at Pryor Fine Art.

Moving fluidly between figuration and abstraction, Catherine’s mixed-media paintings explore familiar moments of human connection. Often drawing from time spent with friends, her compositions capture the experience of sitting together, sharing drinks, and enjoying one another’s company.

Loose, expressive drawing combines with bold color, layered surfaces, and distinctive patterns. The contrast between intuitive mark-making and more structured elements brings energy to each composition, while fragmented figures and overlapping forms allow these everyday moments to become something less literal, shaped by memory, familiarity, and shared experience.

Keep an eye out for upcoming videos featuring our curator, Christina McClelland, as she shares her insights into Catherine’s work and highlights some of the details that make these paintings so compelling.

A selection of exhibition views from Contemplative Reflections of Creation, a solo exhibition by Dusty Griffith, now on view at Pryor through October 31st.

Griffith has worked with beeswax for more than two decades, drawn to its translucency and transformation from solid to liquid and back again. “This transformation is everything,” he explains. Wood and Plexiglas provide structure, while wax, pigment, color, and texture give each composition its own distinct presence.

Light moves through the translucent materials, revealing depth and subtle shifts within the layers. Griffith describes this as allowing the viewer to “see into the pieces” — a quality best understood in person.

We invite you to visit Pryor Fine Art and spend time with Contemplative Reflections of Creation.

As we celebrate Dusty Griffith’s solo exhibition, Contemplative Reflections of Creation, we’re pleased to acknowledge acclaimed interior designer Suzanne Kasler, whose longstanding appreciation for his work has brought it into homes and projects across the country.

A valued collector, client and friend of Pryor Fine Art, Suzanne has been named to ELLE Decor’s A-List and Architectural Digest’s AD100. Through Suzanne Kasler Interiors, she has incorporated Dusty’s work into numerous public and private projects and featured his mixed-media pieces in her four bestselling books published by Rizzoli Publications.

“His color sensibility is so beautiful and paired with the wax media it offers a subtle depth. Also, his color palettes often relate and complement the hues in my interiors.”
— Suzanne Kasler

We’re grateful for Suzanne’s continued support of Dusty and the gallery.

Contemplative Reflections of Creation is on view through the end of October. Visit Pryor to view this new body of work. For inquiries, send us a message.
