One of our own lost her father last year on this day. Brandy knew him as Dad, the rest of us knew him as Mugsy, "Crazy Mugsy cause we really knew him! He was quite the character, never met a stranger, loved every single one of us and couldn't wait to see the finished project of Midway 154 Brewing LLC. Unfortunately he didn't make it to the finish line with us, but he will always be here in spirit. Cheers to one helluva guy, Dad, friend, Papa, and our biggest fan. We miss you and love you Mugsy❤️🍻

This Memorial Day, all of us at Midway154 pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our country and our freedom.

Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to gather with family, build our dreams, and enjoy the simple moments we often take for granted. Today is more than a long weekend — it is a day of gratitude, reflection, and remembrance for those who never made it home.

We will never forget the courage, service, and ultimate sacrifice of our fallen heroes.

From our Midway154 family to yours, thank you to all who have served and to the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice every day.

A GREAT DAY WAS HAD BY ALL, YESTERDAY!! I think the final count was 76 cars in total with 58 entries in the Car Show!! We couldn't be more grateful for everyone who came out to our 2nd annual Cruise-In/Car Show! A special thank you to Lee and Diane Woods, Hanna Lightle. Sara Lou, Audree Miller , Brenley, Xenia Brewer, My Mom Gayle and Wonderful Husband Jared! Thank you to everyone and every business who donated prizes, they were absolutely incredible. Thank you to The Atlanta betterment fund for their generous donation! Thank you Blo-No Boogie band for keeping the vibe going all afternoon and you rocked it! Thank you to all the car clubs and individuals who brought their rad rides up, all of our vendors for having their amazing crafts and Rob Polen for keeping the grill hot and keeping us all fed!! What an incredible day we had! We are definitely looking forward to the next! Bigger and better baby!!

Just got off the phone with Re-Giant and they will be rolling into town around 12:00PM. It will take a bit to get unloaded and the crane hooked up so the first giant probably won't be going vertical till 1:30 is our guess, but you may want to be on site just in case. Museum opens at 10:00 and Joel is in town with a load of new fiberglass figures that were setup late last night at both the museum and Giant Route 66 Stop across the street. Today is a great day to visit Atlanta, IL!

Let the 2 week count down begin!!! Saturday May 23rd is Midway154/American Giants Museum 2nd annual Cruise-In/Car show!! Road closure is from 9am to 6pm, Car show and Cruise-In from 11am-4pm with winners being announced at 3pm! If you're interested in being a Vendor in the market please email Brandy at [email protected], the entry fee is $20 (pay day of inside Midway154) If you want to be entered into the Car show judging, entry fee is $5 (pay day of inside Midway154 with, Jared). Blo-No Boogie band will be playing in the park from 12-3pm, Rob will be grilling up all your favorites from the locker! 50/50 drawing (winner announced after Car show announcements) It's going to be a great day and an even better weekend! Sunday we have a couple of new Giants going up!! So excited! We're working hard to be ready for you all!!

Happy Anniversary to The Kirbys! Levi and Lisa have been married 23 years today!! These two are the total package!
