My Angelynne (abstractive)

An angel of silence, vulnerability, surrender, and shimmering grace.

This piece from my Whispers of the Spirit series explores the sacred space between sorrow and serenity.

Angelynne Abstractive emerges from mystery like a prayer wrapped in riddles. Her form flows through abstraction. Part spirit, part ember. Bearing the jeweled weight of sorrow transfigured.

Across the canvas, ribbons of teal, copper, and gold sweep through her hair and feathers, echoing the turmoil of the unseen battles she’s endured and the strange beauty they’ve bestowed.

This painting channels Rumi’s haunting truth: “What hurts you, blesses you. Darkness is your candle.” Here, darkness is not denied, it’s worn like silk. Her wings, speckled and sharp, arc like a protective veil while her jeweled headdress marks her as royalty of redemption.

Angelynne blesses the broken-hearted and the seekers who dare walk unlit paths. She speaks in abstraction, where anguish and divinity meet in a shared language of color and resilience.

Laila from my Whispers of the Spirit Series

Bathed in quiet light and boundless humility, Laila stands with her back to the world, wings outstretched in silent surrender. Her bare shoulders and defined spine evoke both vulnerability and strength—a soul uncloaked before the divine.

Part of my Whispers of the Spirit series, Laila's whisper is from Galatians 5:16: “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” She turns not from temptation, but toward transcendence—choosing stillness, listening, and sacred restraint.

Laila is a portrait of spiritual resilience: a figure for those who walk quietly yet boldly, who seek divine guidance in a world brimming with distraction. Her presence becomes a daily whisper—gentle, unwavering, holy.
