Did you know that Passion Works Studio's forever home will include the Schoonover Family Experiential Learning Center?
At the studio, experiential learning is more than learning by doing. It is learning by creating alongside others. It begins with curiosity, grows through collaboration, and deepens through reflection. Artists, students, professionals, and community members discover that making art together can also mean making stronger communities.
We are deeply grateful to the Schoonover Family for recognizing the transformative power of this work and investing in a space where creativity, connection, and community will continue to flourish for generations to come.
While the center is part of our future home, this way of learning has always been part of the studio's story. Every year, hundreds of K–12 students, university students, educators, healthcare professionals, and community organizations gather here to explore new ways of seeing, creating, and belonging. Together, they learn how asset-based community development, creative economies, and collaborative art practices can expand opportunities for everyone.
The Schoonover Family Experiential Learning Center will build on this legacy by hosting workshops, classes, and immersive experiences for people eager to cultivate more inclusive communities, strengthen social enterprises, and imagine new possibilities together.
