The Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery was founded with a mission to inspire confidence in people of all ages to discover the world. The museum provides STEAM(science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics)-based interactive, interdisciplinary exhibits, programming, and educational events throughout our community. TODAY 4 PM- 6 PM (AND EVERY WEDNESDAY)
Help us build our community! We are seeking tweens and teens interested in tech! Is your child interested in robotics, programming, coding, engineering, or anything Tech?
Every Wednesday, 4 pm-6 pm (and the 1st Saturday of the month), we host Open Tech Studio. We have a blast exploring different tech projects. Your child can mix and match different projects and follow where their creativity leads them! We have volunteer mentors from the university on hand to help get them started. These mentors can also answer any questions they may have about higher education or STEM career exploration.

WEDNESDAY - Are you a local educator? Join us for our Educator's Open House event on Wednesday August 19th. We will give tours of the museum and talk about our field trips and programming plans for the year. We will have refreshments, prizes, tech demonstrations, and your kids can have fun in our exhibit hall. Plus, we want to hear from you - How can the museum support you and your class this year?
This is a private event solely for educators in our area.
