The Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery was founded with a mission to inspire confidence in people of all ages to discover the world. The museum provides STEAM(science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics)-based interactive, interdisciplinary exhibits, programming, and educational events throughout our community. OVMoD seeks to be a transformative hub for discovery-based, hands-on education

Come join us for Maker Wednesdays this summer from 4-6PM! We have lots of different programming, robotics, building, and electronics projects to choose from, or you can mix and match and follow your creativity! Hydraulic claws, animated cardboard bears, programming games in Scratch, working with the microbit robotic cars, and lots more. Volunteer mentors will be available to help get you started and guide you along the way.
Geared towards participants in rising 5th grade and up (adults welcome too!), 2nd-4th graders are welcome with an accompanying adult.
Starting Wednesday, June 3, we plan to meet every Wednesday through August 12 (except July 22).
