We arrived at our destination late afternoon. Some of our party had already set camp. The West Texas plains seem to strech out for miles in front of us. It has been a beautiful day. Hopefully we will find buffalo tomorrow... Rath City

Phil and I were glad to be back in San Angelo a couple of weeks ago, for the Summer 2021 Exhibition Award Show, at the National Landmark, Historic Fort Concho!
I am honored to be one of, 2020' American Plains Artists of the 35th. Annual Juried Exhibit, selected as a recipient for a special Exhibition Award Show hosted by the Fort Concho National Historic Landmark in SanAngelo, Texas. The opening reception for this special Summer Exhibition Award Show was on June 24th. The show will run through August 1st. 2021. If you are in the area, please stop by!
I am happy to have the honor of showing my art alongside the artworks of these artists! APA artist Mary Lou Pape has the distinction of not only being the 2020 APA Plainsmen Award winner, but she was the 2019 APA Plainsmen Award recipient, as well! Then, of course, APA artists Carol Lundeen, Barron Postmus, and Tom Sampson are all multi-award-winning artists! I feel humbled and very honored to be included in this show with these great artists!
Thank you, Fort Concho, for making this opportunity possible!
