If you attend Asotin Days this weekend come cool down in the (air conditioned) Asotin County Historical Museum at 215 Filmore Street. We have a special display of artifacts our volunteers have picked out that mean something special to them. We will also have an information table at the Car Show on Sunday.

Asotin days are August 7th 8th and 9th. The museum will have a table in the park at the car show, stop by and say hi!!!

Hope to see everyone at our annual ice cream social. This Saturday, July 11th from 11-1 PM. All proceeds from the social will be dedicated to upgrading our security system for the museum.

Free Ice Cream Social this Saturday from 11 am to 1'pm at the museum. Donations are welcome to raise money for upgrading security for the property.

I just want to remind all of you who are going to attend the Asotin County Fair (or even if you aren't) to visit the museum on Fair days. We are located at a shuttle stop so easy to get to us! We have a Bluegrass Band on the porch, Rod Sanger with his player piano and Bruce Petty with antique engines and motors in the side yard. Out front we've got an Espresso Trailer with all kinds of non-alcohol drinks for adults and kids. Come see us!

Our April general meeting is this Thursday, the 9th, at 6pm, in the Museum. All are welcome.

We are looking to borrow a 'quiet" generator for the 3 days of the Asotin Fair. We will have a Bluegrass band here at the museum, Bruce Petty with farm engines, Rod Sangster with his player piano, and at least 3 vendors. We need some extra power. Thank you! Thank you to all the kids and grown-ups who came to the museum yesterday and hunted Leprechauns! We just about ran out of "Pots of Gold" and cookies! We finally got the little guys rounded up and settled down so they can do their St. Patricks' Day shenanigans.
