Donations to our Annual Used Book Sale can be dropped off at the museum during business hours through September 17th.

How did our flag become the flag we know today? 🇺🇸

Old Glory: The Story of our Flag is here, replicas and originals including the Betsy Ross, Bennington, 45, 48, 49, and 50-star flags, plus the meaning behind the colors.

The Highlands DO!zeum is now accepting gently used book donations for our upcoming Annual Used Book Sale, happening September 18–20 during Poage Landing Days.

Your donated books help us fill our sale with treasures for readers of all ages while supporting the Highlands DO!zeum and the experiences we provide for our community.

Join us this Thursday for Sunshine Studio in the Clark Family Discovery Center!

Little explorers will create tie-dye coffee filters and sun catcher collages! Activities are geared toward pre-k learners, but open to ALL ages!

Friendly reminder workshops are located in the Curiosity Cabin room next to the fish tank! Activities are FREE for members and $2(plus admission) for museum guest.

Coming to the Highlands DO!zeum for ONE WEEK ONLY, September 22–26, is The American Revolution Experience! 🇺🇸

This traveling exhibit, provided by the Daughters of the American Revolution – Poage Chapter, was created by the American Battlefield Trust and the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

The innovative pop-up exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation.

Make plans to experience it for yourself next month!
