Gallery Opening night reception
Join us Tuesday September 1st at 5:30pm for the opening night reception for Travis Lee Hicks “No Match for Her, No Match for Here” gallery.

Travis Lee Hicks is an exceptional watercolor artist, author and architect professor, showcasing his works for the September/October exhibit in the Sara Smith Self Gallery. Hicks’ works depicting the life of a pediatric cancer patient and capturing architecture and landscapes with an eye towards the marginal, tertiary, or secondary spaces in small towns and big cities. He recently impressed Jurors at the Randolph Arts Council’s Juried Art Show in April, taking home the grand prize. You will not want to miss this amazing gallery, showcasing his works over the years.

We were thrilled to have over 15 local artists participate in the Randolph Arts Council's Plein Air Painting Weekend. Over June 5th, 6th, and 7th, artists set up their easels in the open air across our community—from downtown streets and historic landmarks to scenic rural landscapes—and transformed everyday views into remarkable works of art.

Thank you to all of the artists who shared their talent, creativity, and vision with our community. We can't wait for everyone to see the completed works at our upcoming Art Auction & Membership Benefit THIS SATURDAY, June 13, where these one-of-a-kind paintings will be available through silent auction. Tickets are priced to include your annual membership to the council, providing a lasting way to support the arts within our community.
