We were thrilled to have over 15 local artists participate in the Randolph Arts Council's Plein Air Painting Weekend. Over June 5th, 6th, and 7th, artists set up their easels in the open air across our community—from downtown streets and historic landmarks to scenic rural landscapes—and transformed everyday views into remarkable works of art.

Thank you to all of the artists who shared their talent, creativity, and vision with our community. We can't wait for everyone to see the completed works at our upcoming Art Auction & Membership Benefit THIS SATURDAY, June 13, where these one-of-a-kind paintings will be available through silent auction. Tickets are priced to include your annual membership to the council, providing a lasting way to support the arts within our community.

Plein Air Painting weekend is here!

All works created this weekend will be displayed and sold by silent auction at the Randolph Arts Council membership benefit on Saturday, June 13th

Vendor Applications and Sponsorship Opportunities Open

See the return of all the things you know and love: Crafts, food vendors, family fun, and more! The Randolph Arts Council is an arts organization and we focus on the promotion of artists who are dedicated to making their own creations. RAC will welcome craft vendors, artists, artisans, food, local partners, family fun, and festival-goers in Historic Downtown Asheboro on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10am - 5:30pm.

PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT STEVE HEADLEE IN MEMORIAM

This exhibit will feature a cross-section of Steve’s passions, captured through the lens of someone who loved his community.

The Randolph Arts Guild is excited for the return of the SHINE BRIGHT summer art Camp!

SHINE BRIGHT 2026 will provide a unique opportunity for small group artistic projects, giving campers experience in many different mediums.

SHINE BRIGHT will be for campers ages 6-12, June 22-26, 2026 from 8:30am-12:30pm, at the Randolph Arts Guild.

This event is a fundraiser benefit for the Randolph Arts Council and a membership drive for the organization. Proceeds will be directly go to funding the Arts Council Mission “The Randolph Arts Council enriches the community by serving artists and arts organizations, increasing access to meaningful creative experiences across all art forms, and inspiring people of all backgrounds to engage and express themselves through the arts. The Randolph Arts Council would like to invite you to participate in an exciting event that is the first of its kind for the organization, with the goal of connecting local artists to one another and facilitating the creation of art inspired by views within our community.

In line with the concept of Plein Air, artists are invited to participate by setting up their easels and painting materials outdoors in the open air to capture their inspiration on location.
