The Gallery of Art invites young artists ages 5 to 18 who live in Ashby, MA and surrounding towns to submit their work for our upcoming June exhibit, “Welcoming Summer.” We’re combining the spirit of summer with the joy of reading!
Artists are encouraged to explore the theme in any way that inspires them—from sunny days and outdoor adventures to the worlds explored in books. You’re also welcome to incorporate the 2025 Summer Reading theme: “Level Up at Your Library!” into your artwork.
All art mediums are welcome—Painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, photography, mixed media, and more.
Exhibition dates: June 1—June 30 2025
Location: Gallery of Art in the Ashby Free Public Library
Submission deadline: May 29 2025 (accepted past date if space is available)
Submit your work via email to: [email protected]
(Include a clear photo of the artwork, your name, age and a short artist statement)
This is a non-juried, community celebration of youth creativity. Space is limited—early submissions encouraged!
