I just took these pictures of what I am at least 50% certain is what remains of another old Coal Mine I am going mostly by the way it is dug out on both sides and the dirty looking water if this is what I’m pretty certain of is just up the road from my house.

Another update on what has been going on and being talked about from our last post we plan on trying to open up from August through October of this year each date for them 3 months will be on the 3rd Sunday noon to 3 August 17th will be the first time opening back up we are hoping everything we do goes well so we can keep our towns history alive long as possible. Arnot PA. Historic society/ museum.

Just putting this update out on the museum that me and my mom made a lot of difference with over the last 4 to 5 years we were not able to hold it open this year because unfortunately she was given the terrible news that she had cancer back again and is no longer with our family I am her youngest son and I plan on trying to keep it going and try holding it open every few weekends in 2026 from May until October with 2 other folks who really want to be involved with it so I am definitely in high hopes that it will all work out for us any help or support would be much appreciated thank you very much Arnot, PA historical society/Museum!!
